Those Russian kids...at the Russian Orthodox church which we attend each Sunday are the cutest things I have ever seen...well, except for the mothers. The girls are wearing cute dresses or the boys little suits. The mothers have gone native and have shed their Russian peasant gear and wear borderline-risque outfits to church. Very distracting on the communion line.
Besides Russians, there is a very large community of Poles here (well, Ireland is a Catholic country after all). There are hundreds of shops selling Polish, Romanian, and Russian food products...
Off the Road: After spending 25 years of driving my kids to schools, to playdates, on holidays, to shopping, etc., it is nice that now they are driving us when required. (the neurologists have forbade me to drive for one year from the date of my first brain seizure...) - we are surviving wheel-less. Laurie tells me she CAN drive but chooses not to, alas.
